Soup Lunch: Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula with Anna DeMers- Hunt Hill

Lunch: 12:00 – 12:30 pm; Program: 12:30 – 1:30 pm

n December 2022, Anna DeMers traveled to the Antarctic Peninsula and will share insights into the continent’s history, geography, wildlife, and even its few plant species. The presentation will also explore the rise of Antarctic tourism and what increased human presence means for this fragile and unique ecosystem.

Warm yourself while enjoying camaraderie and conversation, along with a delicious lunch of soup, crackers, cheese, and dessert provided by Hunt Hill. We strongly encourage participants to bring their own bowl, mug, and cutlery to reduce waste.

Program Fee: $10/person, $7/member
Location: Richard Grand Recreation Hall, Hunt Hill Nature Center
Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 80 people
