Soup Lunch: Aurora Borealis – Understanding, Forecasting, and Photographing the Aurora With Bob King

We’ll look at what makes the aurora, its colors and forms, and explore where and when to see it best. Participants will learn basic forecasting techniques and easy ways to capture images of the northern lights using phones and digital cameras.

Warm yourself, while enjoying camaraderie and conversation at Hunt Hill Nature Center, along with a delicious lunch of soup, crackers, cheese, and dessert provided by Hunt Hill. We strongly encourage participants to bring their own bowl, mug, and cutlery to reduce waste.
