Little Explorers: Seeds & Sprouts

Explorers will learn about seeds and sprouts, discovering how tiny seeds grow into plants and the importance of pollination in nature. We will read The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle, and children will paint and plant a terracotta pot.
Program Fee: Free, but donations are appreciated.
Location: Meet at Lower Level of Richard Grand Recreation Hall, Hunt Hill Nature Center
Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 35 people
NOTE: You must register yourself AND your child(ren). GRANDPARENTS, please have your grandchild’s parents create a free account (they do not have to become a member). Register yourself for a program & then contact us by email or phone (715-635-6543) to register your grandchild.
Little Explorers is a morning of stories, crafts, songs, and nature activities geared towards 3–6 year olds; though all ages are welcome! Guardians must stay for the duration of the program, Depending on weather, we will be outside for a portion of this program. Please dress appropriately to be inside and outside in the weather.
