Location: Meet at the Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum, SpoonerRegistration is not required, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 35 people

Hunt Hill Nature Center is partnering with the Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum for a hands on Little Explorer field trip all about canoes and local river life. Join us on June 13 at 10 A.M at the museum in Spooner for a morning of learning and adventure. We will read One Dog Canoe by Mary Casanova, then enjoy a guided museum tour led by Alexis as we explore different canoe types, parts of a canoe, and the history behind them. Kids will rotate through interactive stations where they will practice paddling skills, build their own mini canoes, and learn about animals that live along our local rivers. Each child will earn a Junior Canoe Explorer badge after completing the experience. This field trip is perfect for curious kids who love nature, stories, and hands on learning.

Program Fee: Free, but donations are appreciated.
